Land Use Management
The Land Use Management Department serves as a central hub for managing the Town’s growth, development, and environmental protection. It brings together several key divisions—Building, Conservation, Planning, and Zoning—to ensure that land use decisions align with community regulatory standards and goals.
Our team works collaboratively to:
- Guide responsible development and land use
- Protect natural resources and open space
- Enforce zoning and building codes
- Support long-term planning initiatives
- Provide permitting services for residents and businesses
We also offer staff support to various elected and appointed Boards, Commissions, and Committees, including those focused on planning, zoning, and conservation.
Whether you're a resident, developer, or community stakeholder, the Land Use Management Department is here to help you navigate local regulations and contribute to the thoughtful growth of our town.
Meeting recordings will be available on
WestfordCAT (Westfordcat Government) and the WestfordCAT YouTube channel two to three days after the meeting date.
