The Helpline is the only statewide, public resource for finding substance use treatment, recovery, and problem gambling services. Helpline services are free and confidential. The Helpline has trained Specialists who will help you understand the treatment system and your options.

  • Northeast Addictions Treatment Center is an accredited Massachusetts Drug Rehab that provides guidance and treatment for individuals and family members who struggle with addiction.

Westford Health Department  

  • Westford Community Naloxone Program

    • Naloxone also called Narcan is a medication that can reverse an opioid overdose. Narcan can reverse an opioid overdose in 3 - 5 mintues. Narcan lasts about 30-90 minutes and blocks opioids from brain receptors. Narcan is not dangerous if admisntered to a person who is not overdosing, and it has no potential for abuse.
    • Free Narcan Kits are available at the Westford Health Department Office in Town Hall, 55 Main St.
    • Community members interested in obtaining a Narcan kit will review the instructional materials with a member from the Westford Health Department.

  • Safe disposal of unwanted medication and sharps (needles).

    • Disposal sites at the Westford Police Department lobby, 53 Main Street and the Westford Fire Department Headquarters lobby, 65 Boston Road.
