Westford Town Manager Kristen Las will make opening remarks at Manufacturing in Massachusetts, a program of the Middlesex 3 Coalition in collaboration with the 495/MetroWest Partnership, on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 9:00 AM. The event is designed to connect regional partners who support business expansion—from workforce and education to real estate, finance, and state resources.
In November, Middlesex 3 was designated an Advanced Manufacturing TechHub by Gov. Healy to accelerate technology development, strengthen local industries, and expand opportunities across Massachusetts. Attendees will learn more about M3’s recent designation, then participate in a panel discussion to explore ways to strengthen and expand advanced manufacturing in the 11-member region with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and long-term growth.
The event includes a tour of BTU, a recently renovated advanced manufacturing facility at 10 Lyberty Way in Westford, MA.
Resource tables will include: Massachusetts Office of Business Development (MOBD), FORGE, NAMC (Northeast Advanced Manufacturing Consortium) and AMTEP (Advanced Manufacturing Training Expansion Program), Nashoba Valley Technical High School (Westford), MassMEP (Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership), and Maugel DeStefano Architects
The event is hosted and sponsored by Avison Young, BTU, Maugel DeStefano Architects, and SCS Construction Management. The event is free for M3 members, $75 for non-members. Click here for more information and to register.
