Discover Westford hosted a free webinar, Federal and State Resources for Business, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, featuring Jack Troast, economic development consultant for the Town of Westford and Managing Director of Troast Advisory Services. The first event in the new Discover Westford Business Toolkit Series, sponsored by the Westford Economic Development Committee (EDC), this webinar provided a high-level overview of potential sources of grants and incentives available to businesses located in Westford.

The 45-minute event included a brief introduction by Imran Nawaz, Chair of the Westford EDC, followed by a presentation from Troast. Troast led the attendees through a series of grants, loan programs, economic partnerships, and supporting organizations available to businesses seeking technical resources, business financing, financial and tax incentives, credits and abatements, workforce training, and industry and growth-stage targeted programs. Following the presentation, Troast answered questions from participants on a number of topics, including grant application processes, town business resources, tax benefits, and more.
