Pay Online with City Hall Systems:
You can pay Real Estate tax bills, Personal Property tax bills, and Motor Vehicle Excise tax bills online with City Hall Systems.
How to Pay Bills Online with City Hall Systems:
- Go to: https://epay.cityhallsystems.com/
- Enter ‘Westford, MA’ as your municipality. Then click ‘View/Pay Bills’.
- Select the type of bill that you would like to pay (Real Estate, Personal Property, Excise, etc.).
- Enter the pertinent information in the prompted fields, and make sure the bill year is correct. Real Estate bills are on the fiscal year, and Excise bills are on the calendar year. Then click ‘Search Bill’.
- Select your bill. The number shown under ‘Amount to Pay’ calculates any pertinent interest. If you select the ‘Click here to view your bill’ button, it will show the bill as it looked at the time of printing.
- Select the amount you would like to pay on the right side of the screen, then click ‘Add to Cart’.
- Click ‘Check Out’, then pay with either a Credit/Debit Card or an eCheck. Credit/Debit Card payments are charged a 2.95% surcharge, whereas eChecks are free.

Benefits of signing up for E-Notices or E-Billing:
- It provides you with an easily retrievable copy of your tax bill.
- Notices go out each quarter, while mailings are only twice per year.

- Thank you for taking advantage of our E-Billing option!
Drop Off Box:
The Drop Off Box is a secure metal lockbox on a post, located across the driveway from the back entrance to Town Hall. You can use it before, during, or after hours. Authorized staff checks the Drop Off Box every morning.
Additional Information:
- Most excise tax bills are mailed in February and due in March. However, excise tax bills for vehicles purchased after January 1st could be mailed at any time during the year.
- Personal property is defined as the contents of a business (machinery, equipment, etc.) and property that fits in a summer home (furnishings, etc.).
Does the Town of Westford Owe You or Your Business Money?
The Town of Westford is required, by law, to publish its list of unclaimed payroll and vendor checks. Simply visit the Unclaimed Checks website and enter your name, or a part of your name, and you will be able to see if you are on the list. If you find your name, follow the link to the claim form. Print out and fill in the claim form. Return the original signed form to the Tax Collector/Treasurer's Office. Be sure to provide all the required information, including a current mailing address. Once we verify that you are the correct owner, we will reissue a check. Please tell your friends and neighbors to check this out!
