The Town of Westford Treasurer/Tax Collector’s Office would like to remind residents that, effective February 12, 2026, the Town began using a Lockbox Payment Service through Leader Bank to process mailed tax payments more efficiently.
This service is provided at no cost to the Town through a partnership with Leader Bank. The arrangement allows the Town to streamline payment processing while ensuring funds are deposited quickly and securely. As a result, residents may see faster check processing times.
What Residents Should Know:
The remit slip on your excise (or other tax) bill may list a Boston P.O. Box mailing address:

The Lockbox service simply provides an additional, efficient processing method for mailed payments.
