Effectively immediately the Highway Department has closed Providence Road at Tadmuck Brook (very close to the intersection of Jester Road) due to a culvert collapse. The Highway Department is working to get the road opened as soon as possible, which entails emergency permitting and the installation of 40 feet of new pipe.
