Introduction to Tai Chi and Qigong On the *Beach: Eight-week Session Starts on March 27
The health benefits gained from the moving meditation of YangTao™ Tai Chi and Qigong are known to reduce stress, improve balance, expand range-of-motion, and strengthen the immune system. *Experienced instructor, Dave Crocker, will be teaching the initial Session 1 classes at 22 Town Farm Road. Later Session 1 classes will take place "On the Beach" at Forge Pond, weather permitting.
CPR, AED, and First Aid Family Night: Thursday, April 19
Whether you need emergency training for home, the workplace, or your community, this ASHI (American Safety & Health Institute) training will build your confidence using real-life scenarios, videos, and easy to understand course materials. For ages 9 and older.
Tennis with Marcus Lewis: Spring Lessons at Stony Brook Middle School Courts in Westford
Marcus Lewis Tennis Extension Program (MLTEP) provides the Westford community with local, quality instruction for all ages, and all levels. P.T.R. certified teaching professional, Donna Homes, along with other MLTEP instructors, will be teaching spring classes starting in April. WPC Session 4 has begun – register at anytime
WPC Session 4, March 5-April 27, offers a variety of activities that include Mixed Media Art, American Sign Language, Marcus Lewis Tennis, No-Bake Cooking, Floor Hockey, Meditation and Mindfulness, and more. Homework blocks are always included in the daily curriculum and are supported by each school’s site director and staff.
WPC Session 4 Special Programs

April 4, 2018 - Professional Development Day (Early Release, half-day coverage)
April 17-20, 2018 - Spring Break (No School Tuesday-Friday, full-day coverage, daily trips and activities to be announced.) Please note: March 30 is an early release day. There will be no WPC program on that day.

Westford Partnership for Children (WPC) is a Parks & Recreation sponsored After School Enrichment Program in collaboration with Westford Public Schools. The WPC program for students K-8 provides a safe, stimulating, and fun environment Monday through Friday, from school dismissal until 5:45 p.m.
