New Seasons, New Programs, at Westford Parks & Recreation

The Westford Parks & Recreation Spring Summer 2018 Brochure has arrived. Find the brochure in your mailbox and online at westfordrec.com. 

Start planning! The new brochure provides Summer Weekly Program Registration Forms for children ages 4-16 with detailed program descriptions for Summer Beach Party; Destination Exploration; Kids Club; Ready, Set, Go!; Leadership; and Venture Out. 

Additional upcoming programs include:  

For Adults: Aikido; Archery; Badminton; Cardio and Fitness Fun; CPR, AED, and First Aid; Essentrics®; Qigong and Tai Chi on the Beach; and Volleyball.

For Youth: Archery for Children; Capture the Flag; Chess Wizards; Flag Football; Nitehawks; and Speed & Agility with D.J. Brock.

For Squirts: No-Bake Cooking for Little Chefs; Tiny-Tots Soccer; Pre-K/Kindergarten Soccer; and Intro to STEAM.

PLUS Rowing for Youth and Adults with Westford Community Rowing (WCR); Marcus Lewis Tennis for Adults, Youth, and Squirts serving all levels at Stony Brook Middle School Courts; and Art at the Beach and Swimming Instruction at Edwards Beach and Forge Pond.


Westford Partnership for Children (WPC) After School Enrichment for Grades K-8: New Session

WPC Session 4, March 5-April 27, will offer a variety of activities that include Chess Wizards, Mixed Media Art, American Sign Language, Marcus Lewis Tennis, No-Bake Cooking, Floor Hockey, Meditation and Mindfulness, and more. Homework blocks are always included in the daily curriculum and are supported by each school’s site director and staff.

WPC Session 4 Special Programs 
For additional support, WPC provides special full-day and full-week programs during school professional development days, conferences, and Winter and Spring Break. To learn more, see WPC Special Programs on the About WPC page at westfordrec.com.

Dates to remember:
March 15, 2018 - Professional Development Day (Early Release, half-day coverage)
April 4, 2018 - Professional Development Day (Early Release, half-day coverage)
April 17-20, 2018 - Spring Break (No School Tuesday-Friday, full-day coverage, daily trips and activities to be announced.)
Please note: March 30 is an early release day. There will be no WPC program on that day.

Westford Partnership for Children (WPC) is a Parks & Recreation sponsored After School Enrichment Program in collaboration with Westford Public Schools. The WPC program for students K-8 provides a safe, stimulating, and fun environment Monday through Friday, from school dismissal until 5:45 p.m.
