Contractors for the town will begin construction on Oak Hill Road on Monday morning, May 3rd. Commuters should expect delays and possible detours in the area of Edwards Road.
Residents will have access to and from their properties, and the Westford Police Department will be on site to manage traffic and public safety during construction. Trash, recycling, mail and school bus schedules will remain the same and businesses will be open and accessible during normal business hours.
Commuters are reminded that speed limits are reduced in the construction zone and traffic violations are subject to increased fines. Please drive with caution and be aware of construction activities, equipment and workers in the road.
