Pet Waste Disposal

We love our dogs and now more than ever, we get to spend more time with our pets! However, dog waste carries harmful bacteria that can make our waters unsafe for drinking or swimming, so always pick it up and throw it in the trash. While you’re walking your dog outside, be mindful of picking up pet waste, whether it’s in your neighborhood, on a trail, or in a local dog park. If you have any questions, contact the Town of Westford stormwater coordinator Paul Starratt at 978-399-2716.  Visit our stormwater website for more information:  https://www.westfordma.gov/stormwater.
