In 2022, Westford contracted an inventory of street trees and invasive plant species within certain portions of town, including scenic roads and some other key areas. Project goals also include a management plan, species lists, and potential updates that can be made to Westford's bylaws and regulations to protect trees. Following two public forums, a survey, and additional stakeholder input, plans have been finalized.
