The Finance Director is a full time town employee appointed by the Town Manager. The Director has responsibility for financial management and planning, including budget control, and maintenance of the financial records of the town.
The Finance Department consists of the offices of the Board of Assessors, Tax Collector, Town Accountant and Town Treasurer.
The Finance Director is responsible for town-wide financial planning and administration of all financial processes of the Town.
The Finance Director also serves as Town Treasurer and is responsible for the receipt and disbursement of all town funds, cash management, debt management and financial reporting.
