PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT:
West Nile Virus - Mosquito Control Spraying Scheduled
Wednesday September 3rd 8:30PM at
Jack Walsh, American Legion, and VFW Fields
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has confirmed
West Nile Virus in two birds in the Town of Carlisle. The Board of Health

The Parks and Recreation Department has been working with the Board
of Health to get the necessary waivers for spraying of specific recreation
fields (Jack Walsh, American Legion, VFW). The waiver has been
approved due to the immediate public health concerns.
The spraying has been scheduled through the Central Mass. Mosquito Control
and will take place on Wednesday, September 3rd after 8:30PM. The
product being sprayed is Anvil 10 +10. (EPA registration #1021-1688-8329)
