Many Westford residents have expressed curiosity about the subject of the rollout of FiOS TV and other related services from Verizon.
Westford Town Government is hoping to conclude Cable TV franchise license negotiations with Verizon within a few weeks - after which some parts of Westford will begin to be offered service. "FiOS is Coming Soon" postcards have already appeared in Westford mailboxes.
That being said, how quickly you can get service depends on when they build out your street for FiOS infrastructure. Verizon says that "most" of the streets with above-ground utilities (telephone poles) will be completed by the end of 2009.
