As part of the cleanup for the Abbot Oil Spill there will be some construction on Saturday October 4th.
This construction will take place in the area behind the Abbot School. The construction consists of pipe-bursting where an existing buried pipe is replaced in-place without an open-cut excavation.
This will generate some noise for nearby abutters as well as users of the nearby fields and playgrounds. We anticipate this work to be completed on Saturday.
