The Communications Advisory Committee (CAC) is the Westford Town Board that advises and represents the interests of the Westford Board of Selectmen in their role as Franchise Authority for Cable Television services provided by Comcast Corporation, Westford's Cable Operator. The CAC, formerly known as the Cable Advisory Committee, also now oversees broadband services including Cable or DSL Internet access and IP telephony.

The Community Preservation Committee is responsible for evaluating the community preservation needs of Westford and making recommendations to Town Meeting as part of the annual budget process.

The purpose of the Comprehensive Master Plan Committee shall be to plan, develop and recommend to the Town of Westford Planning Board a Comprehensive Master Plan for the Town. This plan Shall meet the requirements of a Comprehensive Master Plan as described in MGL C 41 Section 81D.
